Terms of Service
Your registering or signing up for service(s) with Learning Doves constitutes a legally binding contract between Learning Doves and the client (Parent/Guardian).
OBLIGATIONS OF THE LEARNING DOVES
The Learning Doves instructor undertakes to do all preparation prior to lessons and to structure lessons in such a way as to optimize time to the benefit of the Student.
The Learning Doves Instructor and present and future staff shall keep confidential all information of the Student and shall contact parties involved in the education of the Student when needed; teacher and parent/guardian from time to time.
The Learning Doves Instructor shall not assign any of his/her duties or obligations to a third party without the written permission of the parent/guardian.
The Learning Doves Instructor shall at no time be required or obliged to execute homework or assignments on behalf of the Student.
Learning Doves will, to the best of its ability, work to reschedule any cancelled sessions at a mutually agreeable time made between Learning Doves and Client.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT
The parent/guardian, along with support or assistance from the teacher undertakes to assist the Learning Doves Instructor in identifying problem areas in which the Student needs specific academic help.
Parent/Guardian undertakes the responsibility to ensure the Student attends or is online for all sessions as scheduled by the Parent/Guardian.
Parent undertakes the responsibilty to reinforce school learning and Learning Doves academic support by working with their child independenttly at home exclusive of Learning Doves.
NO WARRANTIES
Learning Doves makes no promises or guarantees concerning a Student's performance because of any instruction provided. However, it does state that if the Student participates. follows instruction, and with the parent’s and teacher’s support that the Student’s grades, skill level, or subject knowledge could improve.
CANCELLATIONS
Sessions may not be cancelled. However, they may be rescheduled. A 7-day advanced notice must be given in order to reschedule. The new session date and time must be mutually agreed upon between Learning Doves and Client. Failure to reschedule will result in the loss of a paid session and no refunds will be given.
No discount or refunds shall be given in respect of sessions not attended by the Student. No adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late or arrival either in person or online by the Student
MINORS
Since the Student is a legal minor, the Parent/Guardian shall enter into this contract on behalf of the Student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the Student.
WHOLE AGREEMENT
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
Registration Information and Agreement
Registration fee is per child not per account.
Registration fee is good for one year from initial date of registration.
After initial payment of registration fee, you are not required to pay this fee again to sign up for additional services.
Registration Information for Returning Users
If you return and would like to receive additional services, click returning users, schedule appointment, complete short form, add desired services to your cart, and submit payment. Also, for returning users, please ensure that the child's name you provide is exactly the same as the one whom you previously registered. Doing this helps me recognize their name as having already paid the registration fee, as this information is kept on file. In the future, I plan to streamline this process, making it more efficient. This means upon initial registration, clients will be able to create an account with login, password, and store profile and account information.
Scheduled Appointments
All clients who schedule appointments and have not paid all necessary fees, including registration fee if required, will be cancelled immediately without notification.
Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, LEARNING DOVES takes no responsibility for nor shall we be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold LEARNING DOVES, and all third parties associated with this site, its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and applicable third parties (e.g. relevant advertisers, syndication partners, licensors, licensees, consultants and contractors) (collectively "Indemnified Person(s)") harmless from and against any and all third party claims, liability, loss, and expense (including damage awards, settlement amounts, and reasonable legal fees).
